Pop's Deli and Cafe

The family

Same family. A quieter barn door.

Pop’s is a neighborhood deli-cafe in Forestbrook, run by the family behind BarnDoor Innovations.

BarnDoor Innovations is the family’s production house in Myrtle Beach. The projects are family-made: BarnDoor Innovations Kids, and Trey For A Day. The deli is the same family, on this side of the counter.

The idea is simple, and it is the whole menu. Fresh subs, cold cuts, breakfast, salads, and sides, made so the person eating can control the plate. A named sandwich is a suggestion from the family. Build-your-own is the rule underneath it. Bread, meat, cheese, and the extras you actually want. Stop when it’s yours.

You’ll see family names on the board. The Mimi is chicken salad. The Nani is the weekly pasta, cold through the middle of the day and supper-style later. Pop’s Special Sub is $9.95 for a 5in half and $15.95 for a 10in whole. Jr’s Sub, the Soprano Sub, the American Sub, Trey’s Sub, and Poppy’s Sub are $10.95 for a 5in half and $16.95 for a 10in whole.

We are not open yet. The phone on this site, 843-516-9717, is temporary. When the counter on Belle Terre is ready, breakfast runs until 1pm and Sunday we are closed. Come hungry. Tell us how you want it.

Family photos of Pop belong here, and they should be real ones. Until the family hangs them, the pictures on this site are of the food and the kind of counter we’re building — not a stand-in for anyone’s face.
